CPAPstore.eu may support VAT refund requests for eligible private customers residing outside the European Union. The process is strict, time-sensitive, and can only be handled through Vatfree.com with valid customs export documentation.

Refund requests are not processed directly by CPAPstore.eu and must go through Vatfree.com.
1. Overview
At CPAPstore.eu, we may support VAT-free purchase requests for eligible customers residing outside the European Union.
This service is available only through www.vatfree.com and requires specific steps, valid documents, and strict timing.
All orders are placed with VAT included. You pay the full price at checkout first, and the VAT refund request is handled afterwards through Vatfree.com.
2. Who Can Apply for VAT-Free Orders?
VAT refund requests are available only for private customers with permanent residence outside the European Union.
- The customer must be a private individual.
- The customer must have permanent residence outside the EU.
- The goods must leave the European Union with valid customs export validation.
- The invoice date and departure date must be very close.
There are no exclusions by country outside the EU, provided that the customer meets the legal and documentation requirements.
3. How It Works

All orders are placed with VAT included, and you pay the full price at checkout. -
Request the VAT refund through Vatfree.com.
After purchase, register your order with www.vatfree.com. Vatfree.com will guide you through the refund process. -
Export the goods and collect customs validation.
You must obtain the required customs export stamp or validation when leaving the European Union. -
Upload the required documents.
Submit the required documents to Vatfree.com for validation. -
Wait for verification.
Once Vatfree.com verifies your documents, they notify us according to their procedure. -
Refund processing.
After the required confirmation is received and accepted, we process the applicable VAT refund according to the approved procedure.
4. Required Documents
To request a VAT refund through Vatfree.com, you must provide the documents required by their process and by customs rules.
- Invoice stamped by EU customs at the airport, border, or relevant customs office.
- Copy of your passport.
- Copy of your airline ticket or travel document.
- Any additional form, receipt, or document requested by Vatfree.com.
Vatfree.com validates and processes your request. CPAPstore.eu cannot approve a VAT refund without complete and valid documentation.
5. Refund Notification
Once Vatfree.com verifies your documents, they send us an official notification according to their procedure.
At that point, and only if the documents and timing meet the required conditions, we issue the VAT refund according to the approved process.
Refunds are not processed directly by CPAPstore.eu without Vatfree.com validation.
6. Important Notes
- Customers must inform us upfront if they plan to request a VAT refund.
- The invoice date and flight or departure date must be very close, usually 3–5 days maximum.
- If you buy today and leave Europe in 2 months, we cannot refund VAT because VAT has already been declared through the EU OSS system.
- Refunds are not processed directly by CPAPstore.eu. They must be handled through Vatfree.com.
- We first receive the invoice or official confirmation from Vatfree.com and pay it. Afterwards, Vatfree.com refunds the VAT amount back to you according to their procedure.
The VAT refund process is strict. Incorrect timing, missing documents, wrong customs validation, or incomplete information may result in rejection.
7. Special Case: Longer EU Stay
If you plan to stay in the European Union longer than a few days, please inform us before shipment.
In this case, we may be able to issue a delivery note instead of an invoice. Once you are ready to depart and you request it, we will issue the invoice so that it aligns more closely with your flight date.
This process extends the timeline, but it must still happen within the same calendar/economic month.
This option must be discussed with us in advance. It cannot always be applied after the order has already been invoiced or shipped.

We do not collaborate with Vatfree.com as an official partner and we do not receive any benefit from the use of their services. We mention Vatfree.com only as an additional tool that non-EU customers may use to request a VAT refund.
The procedure is strict and must be followed exactly according to the steps and timelines provided.

According to EU VAT rules, VAT exemption for exports outside the European Union is only valid if it can be proven that the goods have actually left the European Union.
For this reason, the Bulgarian tax authorities require complete and valid export documentation before a VAT exemption or refund can be approved.
To ensure compliance, we require that the customs export stamp or validation comes from the customs office of the same country where the delivery took place and which is stated on the invoice.
This measure is necessary so that the documentation can be accepted by the Bulgarian tax authorities and the VAT exemption can be approved without issues.
All VAT refunds are subject to EU and national tax regulations.
